i have the choice of 160/160 or 185/160.

i'm thinking 160/160 is going to be more than enough (as i myself @ 90kgs ride with a 180/160 combo).

any thoughts?

Always better to go too big than too small, but depends on brakes... 180/160 is generally sensible I reckon- I weigh 65kg, nearly melted my 160mm rear brakedragging my way down fort william dh on my hemlock but it worked ๐Ÿ˜‰ But some brakes are stronger than others and some deal better with heat than others.

I'm 70kg and run 160/140 or 160/160.

My new plastic bike is coming with 180/160 will give it a go but I reckon it's overkill.

I'd lean toward 160/160 I think.
