Putting my old disc rotors on a new wheel.Do I use some sort of thread locking compound on the bolts ?
Thanks.

Used locking compound years ago but now I just grease them. That way they're easy to get off if you want to swap discs etc.

if you've got it use it if not don't bother just check your bolts after a few rides

yes, although i suppose you could catch a loose disk before it falls off.

I use the triangular Shimano torx bolts with the paired alloy locktabs where possible, and a smear of high-temperature copper grease with the bolts.
That way it is very secure and you can get them off later.
Tried stainless bolts, with/without loctite and often ended up drilling them out. Not again.
