I'm kind of repeating a thread I started yesterday where "z1ppy" was kind enough to post some help, but I'm re-phrasing the question to try and put my mind at rest. If you order from Rose and want to send stuff back, is there any proof of postage you can keep? If you hand over a parcel with their sticker on it and no money changes hands I don't see how you would prove you sent it if they don't recieve it? Also, is there a way to only return part of a shipment, and finally how quickly does your card get credited? Thanks! (Ordered some stuff which I've now decided I don't need)......
If you are taking it to the post office they can give you a hand written proof of postage, alternatively depending on what it is and value you could pay the postage and send it international signed for to get it insured etc then you would have some sort of tracking/comeback if there are issues.
I don't know about returning part of an order but I have just returned a full order using Rose's printed return label and the Post Office gave me printed proof of purchase. I posted it on the 14th, Rose emailed me on the 19th to let me know they had received it and it would be processed in the next few days, and the money was back on my credit card on the 20th. The whole process was quick, painless and at no cost to me - pretty impressive really.
Thanks stormtrooper, that's the bit that was worrying me. I didn't see where any proof was being displayed but I get it now.
if it is courier collection they will sign something (you need to prepare it)
