I've wanted to ride along the thames path from home (Walton) to central London and maybe further. Given I'm moving, I think it's on the cards for the coming week or so. I'll do it around commuting time for no reason other than it doesn't waste a day then and it'll help fill the days now I'm between jobs.

Anyway, other than the obvious stuff, is there anywhere I should detour to see something that someone who has lived in London for 15 years might not have seen? It'll be the first outing for the Hummingbird so 30 miles of flat ground is probably not a bad way to work out the kinks.

Regarding canal paths we have the Regents canal and the River Lee or Lea
In central London most canal paths was either filled in over time or diverted
under ground and the back out to near bye canals
