Personally unconvinced it's a problem that needed solving but many seem to.
The simple fact is not everyone likes grip shifters, I believe I saw the pre-production unit at Core. There's not a huge lot to go wrong with them, what's not to like?

I presume it replaces the external click box too?
Which means a ratcheting system.

I reckon electronic shifting with a wee stepper motor is the way forward.
