...and it was absolutely awesome. Great weather (including forbidding, mysterious morning mists), great routes (Saturday a big Ladybower loop starting from Hope, Sunday a WHite Peak loop from near Bakewell) and all I can say is I'm jealous of the locals.
All other bikers friendly as you like. Thanks to the two fellas who checked my mate hadn't broken his hip - it was just a saddle/arse interface and he got better - and comiserations to the guy at the Ladybower inn with the snapped handlebars.
We'll be back.
Glad you had fun, where'd ur local stomping ground?
Glad you had a great time, Its always that sunny and the trails that dry up here.
Local stomping ground is South Downs, near Shoreham - lots of bridleways, the odd wooded singletrack, plenty of slippery chalk etc. Good fun all the same.
Picked the weather for it. Did you go round chatsworth?
yep. always glorious!
Yeah, went through Chatsworth in the morning mist. Great climb up the back of the house through the woods.
that picture is just SO photoshopped.
Where do you buy your mud from BTW ?
