Anyone...?
Yes, very good!
Yup. Recommended.
I've got 2006 Revs on my full-sus and they've served me well though they're looking like they may need replaced. Easy to tune (rebound, compression, + and - air) and pretty robust.
Not sure if they have advanced much in the last 3 years and Fox may have stolen a march with the new Floats but it looks like a steal at the price in the current climate.
I've got em on a 06 reign,
very happy.
three of us bought them from merlin a few weeks ago and we all prefer them to our old fox's.
Hi Neilson, I used the 426 Rev for the last 2 years and thought they were good but too be honest i'd never used another fork so wasn't able to compare them to anything. Well now i can as i've just put some some 09 Fox Floats on with the new QR 15mm axle. Obvioulsy they feel a hell of a lot stiffer than the std 9mm revs but what i can say is that the damping on the Floats is in a different league. They're smoother (althoguh not been run in yet), absorb the small bumpos better, take the big hits better but the big thing i've noticed is the massive gain in traction. This may be down to the 15mm QR but i'm hitting parts of the trail at speeds that i couldn't get anywhere near before. Obviuosly the Floats are more dollar but if that isn't an issue i'd seriously look at them. You won't regret it for a minute.
NielOW - lookup 426s on Chain Reaction Cycles, they're a bargain £256, just bought myself a pair after repies on my "is travel adjust worth it" thread! They are exactly the same as the Merlin ones. Get em whilst they 'ot!
