ive just bought a secondhand meta 4 frame with a rockshox bar rear shock, but it seems that when i adjust the rebound, nothing happens, so im stuck with really fast rebound
does anybody know why or what i can do. any help much appreciated
If it does nothing from one end of it's adjustment to the other I would say it needs a service at the very least.
I'd send an e-mail in this direction:
http://locotuning.co.uk/home.html
or http://www.tftunedshox.com/default.aspx
and see what happens.....although the Rockshox Bar shock isn't mentioned on their service lists.....
Non serviceable item really, replacement shock is best option, sorry!
Your joking? You can't service the rebound circuit? FFS what a piece of **** (self moderated)
RS Bar is one of the worst rear shocks ever made. Just get a decent one and life will be vastly improved 🙂
Yep, non servicable other than air seals, it's a budget unit.

I looked online earlier and they can be had for just over £100. So, probably not worth a £90 service.......
£90 😯 sending them to the wrong places 😉

Come on then - how much for a service of a Brain Shock from a 2010 Stumpjumper FSR?? 🙂
The usual place I'd use wants £109, apparently! Not that I intend to get it done for a while, but it would be good to have an idea in my head, so I can put some pennies aside.....
