No doubt this has been done to death so sorry...

Been reading through this thread and although I am only on page 3 there are two very different ideas.

Camp 1. 10 to 15 more psi in the negative for more small bump compliance

Camp 2. Set up fork with no air in negative. Putting just enough positive to achieve full travel, then add negative to suit. Ending up with a 60% of the Positive pressure in the negative

Also it seems that Tftuned say to set it up by setting your sag via the positive then adding just enough negative till your forks moves slightly downward.

So as the owner of a Reba and a Pike Dual Air I would like to know what people think?

I've sat up both my reba and revalation by setting up the correct sag (about 15% for me) using the positive, and then add 10psi less in the negative chamber, but i don't mind losing a little small bump sensitivity to get less brake dive, i hate brake dive.

The thread is mostly Yanks and a lot of them seem obsessed with climbing...

Whereas I had mine pushed and fully tweaked at TF and wanted some small bump sensitivity as well as decent big hit ability. When they came back they were a totally different set of forks. They came with the advice for my style of riding (and weight) to run 145 in +ve and 155 in -ve.

+ 5 to 10 psi in negative chamber for added plushness/small bump.
For stiffer the same.

Fill the positve chamber first. ๐Ÿ˜€
