Afternoon all,

I am looking to service my 09 RockShox Recon SL forks and was wondering if anyone knows what size o rings and circlips I might need in case I have to replace any? Also is there anything else worth having to hand that might need to be replaced in a general service?

Thanks
Tim

Thanks for the reply I have seen the service kits, I was hoping to just get hold of some o rings and circlips seperatly, but am not sure what sizes I need.

I think Peter Poddy has the answers.

I only needed one seal which was the inner seal on the base plug at the bottom of the damping leg, that the shaft slides through.

I got them from Here.

Would that be the one that always goes ? Allowing the fluid to migrate to the lower leg. if so I'm getting some to save the £20 for the whole set.

Hi carlosg - if you're getting some can you get me some or do some sort of a group buy thing? Im willing to bet they're the same as in reba's and rev's.

In the meantime I bought these to try in my revs and the one I needed (lower inner damper) was perfect (I didnt need them all so dont know if they're all the right fit): ebay

Just to state the obvious - I dont know about your exact model!

Has any one picked up one of the assorted o ring boxes from ebay? Looks like it could save lots of money if they have the correct sizes. This is the sort of thing http://tiny.cc/4sdqr

couldashouldawoulda , that link to the ebay seal kit is perfect , Reba's are what I need to repair. £8 posted is a bargain seeing as I'd be looking at a minimum of £4.31 for 1 O ring off the other site.
