2012 Rock Shox RCT3 Revelations, dual air.

I was out riding today, and I noticed that my lockout wasn't working (It had been working earlier in the ride) and the LSC dial was just freely spinning around (usually it has 16 ish clicks to either way and then stops). I expected that there was a load of bad news waiting for me when I had a look inside.

But no, I took the forks apart and nothing appears to be broken per se. Instead, it's just all fallen apart and I got the collection of parts you see below. The blue screws you can see have apparently just fallen out, meaning the bottom half of the MoCo had fallen off.

The screws and the part into which they locate are still in possession of all of their threads. So it looks like it will all screw back together again 8)

My only concern are those red metal washer things - anyone know what they're for? One of them came out with the damper oil, and the other one is jammed in the shim stack assembly at the bottom - see second pic.

I assume that the red things are washers which go between the blue screws and the thing they screw into, but that's based on nothing other than the fact that they seem to fit there. But I can't really see what function they have?

I would imagine that RS would warranty this anyway - so it's not a huge deal if the STW hivemind can't work it out. But I'd obviously rather fix it myself and get riding again - assuming no parts are damaged.

Can anyone help?

It's fixable, maybe best to send it to me to diassasemble the piston and remove the second red washer and check for any damage, as you don't want to crack a shim or damage the piston pulling it out.
The washers are spacer to stop the screws fouling the low speed rod.

I think I can get the red washers out. If I run into trouble I'll let you know. But I'd rather not be without my forks this weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the advice
