Righto- need to find a cheap carbonfibre fork for my brothers bike- how do I go about doing this?
Looking for cheap as poss- but obviously something half decent.
Ta, Duane.
cheap carbonfibre alive
Pick two.
Try AllTerrainCycles in Salts Mill, Bradford; they had a few forks in.
OK, sorry, bit of a vague question, what kinda price am Im looking at for an OK fork then?
have a look at the on-one fork at 125 quid, I reckon that's as cheap as you're going to get with a history of good performance.

Cheap and was £130 now it's a bargain on Treks middle end and has mudguard eyelets for winter training.
ITM Visia here too
would carbon forks on an old steel framed road bike be a stupid idea?

Best part of £90 for a road fork that weighs 630g! Not good value IMO.
I have some £70 itm ones which are fine. Any decent brand should be OK. Lots on ebay too.
Ring around the lbs and see if they have any in the spares bin (got a set of Lemond cf with alloy steerer for £20 from mine).
I only payed £70 Inclu fitting for mine KingTut and got a 3yr warranty and crash exchange from Bonti.
I could have bought a better lighter fork but the best lightweight option for me is lose more weight physically but I'm glad it has eyelets for the front guard.
Besides you can buy cheaper forks but I wanted a decent brand who has looked after me regarding warranty.
Most roadbikes owned on here are lighter than Lance's first tour win bike and they wouldn't hold a candle to him.
