Just a quick question before i start to "tinker"
I have two sets of road wheels :

Campagnola wheels with Campagnola freehub / cassette

Fulcrum wheels with Shimano freehub / cassette

Could i just put the campagnola freehub / cassette onto the Fulcrums ?? or do i need a special Fulcrum free hub that is Compatible with my particular Fulcrum wheel and of course Campagola compatible ?????

Be very surprised if free hubs would fit.
You may find that shimano and campag cassettes work fine across bikes.
I have 9 speed wheels that work across different group sets.

I doubt the freehub would just swap between the Campag wheels and the Fulcrum, but you can get cassettes that have the Campag splines and Shimano spacing and vice versa... I know Ambrosio make them as I have one on my Roadrat.

I have no idea - a note to others though, if you also haven't tried the particular combo or have some other in depth knowledge then your comments are unlikely to be helpful (given that Fulcrum wheels are a Campagnolo brand, sharing some features with Campagnolo wheels, so it's at least feasible it might work).

Depends on the wheels.
Some Fulcrum freehubs are interchangeable with Campag wheels as they are for all intents the same company. Take them to bits and have a look?

I too have no idea, but recall a colleague of mine ordering an adapter to convert one to the other, not sure which way round, but maybe a quick google will unearth something helpful.

You need a shimano freehub for the Campag wheels, and a Campag freehub for the fulcrum wheels. Both are available from Campag/fulcrum (same thing) The cassettes have very different spacing, both internal splines and the tooth/sprocket spacings.

Having done a little more digging it looks like they might actually be compatible... but it would depend on the axle size of each set of wheels.

So you might be okay...

or get a Marchisio cassette with campag to shimano spacing. Expensive though. Changing the Fulcrum to the Campy freehun is your esaiest option. Just buy the Fulcrum Campy-compatible freehub. I beleive the Fulcrum is part owned by Campy hence the cross compatibilty.

Just done this for a mate, you can get a campag freehub (£41 CRC for R5/R7) and it swops over easily on the Fulcrums, as aracer says Fulcrum is Campag, 5 minute job
