I want to ride from Horwich to Burnley on the road....
Can anyone recommend a reasonable route, my only thoughts are either to head up towards Preston and across along the A59...or somehow circumnavigate the A56 near Ramsbottom / Rawtenstall.
Not exactly bicyle frienddly routes eh?

Ride to Adlington then follow the Lancashire Cycleway Route 91 signs.

And if you want a longer ride then ride up through Chorley and join the route in the other direction 🙂
