Ouch!
Tavistock to near Redruth cutting under Bodmin..
Head wind all the way and for 40 miles into torrential rain, which at speed including the head wind, stings the eyes somewhat, nice company at the end and a large plate of spag bog.

I'm spent and can't wait to ride away from traffic on Sat.
So advance warning for anyone planning big miles in the deep SW, gurn loads and enjoy.
Ouch!
I did Dartmouth to Bodmin(200K)and back in a day and got an achilles tendon injury as my reward ๐
BTW Shane, you cycled passed me in Totnes the other day. I saw the 456, then the trailer but by the time I saw the rider it was too late to hail you down and drag you to the pub ๐
If you saw me in Totnes i was heading to the pub to meet Jambo.
Will be back over that way as of Saturday, which reminds me to let Tim know.
I've no injuries, only niggles were the butt and back, which isn't surprising as i'd not set the saddle position other than for height.
Must come down your way whilst i'm about and go to Alfresco's ๐
Hey sharki, good to see you outside the edge at Port Isacc!
Sorry we had to rush off but nice to chat!
If you get up to telford way let me know. I'll let you know when we're back in Cornwall!
Like wise elmo. Trust you had a great time down there and stayed on the beers..
Glad you didn't stop longer, i'd of had a beer or two and struggled alot more to get back alive.
I'm back in Cornwall next month.
Any routes around Charlestown worth knowing about.
Road or MTB.
Cheers
Tim
