Thinking about next year already.
Has anybody got any info/experience or now of any companies in Andalucía for riding holidays.
Could do self guided if I could find accommodation but I'd like to be half board as I like having nothing to think about but riding. If a suitable guiding company is available I'm not against being guided.
Looking for relatively hard riding so 80-100miles per day and a good few thousand meters of climbing. Was comfortable doing this in Majorca with my road club. Obviously variety and options are key. Might throw in a really long day and will almost certainly have a rest day as well.
Anyone know anything>
Gary and Sarah have been members of my bike club for years and run http://www.vamoscycling.com/
Never done one of their hols but have heard nothing but good things about them.
I had a great week with Vamos in 2011. Gary and Sarah are great hosts and the food they cook is first rate.
Roads are quiet and covered with top quality Tarmac. Perfect for road cycling. You like hills yes?
Further to Harris's post. Gary does clock up some mileage 😆 https://www.strava.com/athletes/12020
Its always bloody hot..
Be prepared.

Not used any companies over there but the road cycling is brilliant. Roads are superb, scenery is hard to beat, and the drivers tend to be nice and considerate. Only had 2 run-ins with motorists over Easter, one was in a GB plate car, and the other was a hire car with an English driver just off the flight to Malaga.
