Hey everyone,
I'm having to head down to Doncaster for a couple of weeks over Christmas due to a wedding and seeing my 'rents. I'm taking my road bike down with me and was looking to go out on a few club runs while down there. I can see there is Doncaster Wheelers and Rossington Wheelers in the vicinity (parents are in Finningley), are there any others? Any recommendations? I don't mind riding out to other places like Sheffield etc too.
Will be out on my own putting in the winter miles most days, so not too bothered about pace/distance really, will be good just to get out with some cyclists south of the border!
yo, Doncaster Wheelers C/o Don Valley cycles probably ya best bet. Rosso is near Finningley and not too far from Harworth (Tom Simpson territory)if they still have a club I'm not sure? You could also try S****horpe or Rotherham areas too?
Harworth club is still around, as is Dinnington, the other main club in the area. They have chain gangs and club runs of various paces.
