Road bars - padding/shaping 'insert' for under the tape

Saw a picture somewhere of some sort of palstic (or possible rubber) type fitment that went over the tops of (round) road bars that made them somewhat aero looking shape, then you put the tape over the top to give yourself a larger area to hold onto. May have come with some shaping bits for the drops too.

Anyone even know what I'm talking about?! Can't even think of a google search term to even really start looking yet (though I'm trying)
