Thinking about heading up Rivi after work - never rode there before, how does it hold up in the wet? And is it still raining there? Been pissing down in Manchester all day but has gone off now!

Put the slicks on and drive over to the Steven Burke road track at Nelson, it will be clean and dry and you'll go home feeling beasted, especially if you happen to meet us there on our roadies....

You'd just laugh at me in my baggies and lack of lycra ๐Ÿ˜†

Thanks Junkyard, might take you up on that some time! My internal compass is usually ok-ish, so I'll see how lost I get tonight...

big mast makes rough navigation petty good but some of the stuff is not that obvious on the ground.

Enjoy its decent trails made all the better being ridden to from my front door

Planning on trying to find San Marino and ICR, then just winging it from there. Might trundle over to Healey Nab if I can be bothered.

Healey Nab was running nicely last night. Headed up there after work on my cross bike. It'll be a bit damper now though given the rain.

It's mostly rocky so shouldn't be tooooo bad... If you're doing San Marino just go up the access road as any routes across the moors tend to be slop unless it's been bone dry for weeks.

Been dry here all afternoon, quite warm now so all the usual stuff will be pretty clear. As mentioned just keep off the moors and you'll be reet.

Scrub that.

Looks like there could be some wet stuff coming from the west.

Yeah, thought that would be best! San Marino is a fantastic descent, worth the trip up there just for it.

Also managed to avoid the rain somehow!

I didn't get in from work until nearly 8 but went for a little spin up to the pike for a beer and then back down the ICR. Few puddles in places but pretty good really. Had a bit of drizzle for the last 3 or 4km but that helped cool me off ๐Ÿ™‚
