Can anybody give me good accurate directions for a nice 1-2 hourish off road route around Rivington? I've been once before with a bloke I used to know but it was, quite frankly a bit boring. I'm told there are some great routes there though but no idea where to look. Cheers.

Probably worth checking out the recent thread on San Marino, as several folks have dropped in various comments about nearby routes.
