I need to get to the Stanstead area next week and was looking at cycling up there via the Rive Lee Navigation from Central London.
Has anyone rode it? If so, what's the verdict?

From memory it's mostly pretty well surfaced. The towpaths in London are generally referred to as being paved with gold, particularly in comparison with more rural parts of the network. <span style="font-size: 0.8rem;"> </span>
Dodgy areas to look out for though, but it's likely change in 10+ years.
