Hi,

I have finally got around to building up the nice steel hardtail I put together with Dave Yates the other (3) year ago. The frame was based upon the geometry of the Ritchey p650b so thought I would get a set of the Ritchey forks to go with my build. After a bit of hunting around found them at Bike24.

Now they have arrived but I notice a few blemishes that I wouldn't expect from Ritchey. They are also labeled "MTB Forks MC08A" (in an odd typeface). A bit of Googling and I have found that they are likely manufactured by Trigon Cycles. Their MC08A is now the MC08P and looks remarkably similar (I would say they are the same).

Wouldn't Ritchey remove this labeling from their products sold under the Ritchey name? Anyone running these are similar forks and can confirm the labeling? I have emailed Bike24 as well as they are an authorised dealer. Ritchey have no email address that I can find on their website.

Thanks.

Jon.
