Whyte M109 now purchased. I only went in for a pair of shorts.
I have run 1x10 for over a year and get along well. But the front mech has a cable internally routed like this.

Do I simply pull it out and fill gap with some silicone?
Uncharacteristically, I thought I should drink vino and ask before I gave it a strong tug.
How has anybody else dealt with going 1x10 and having holes in their frame from the front mech routing? Will the guides fall out without cables there?
