Singletrackers! Anyone go riding / walking / climbing with their kids? Where do you get their togs - is there anywhere selling decent clobber that isn't stupid colours and even stupider prices?
Cheers,
BTM
All the time, but to be honest they generally wear 'normal' clothes.
Decent waterproof from TK Maxx / Blacks sale / Trespass is more or less the only addition, and some cycling gloves for the eldest because he's the only one they seem to fit. He climbs in long sleeve Ts and sweatpants, to protect from grazes a bit, and wants to buy his own shoes when he starts his lessons.
Decathlon do decent kids stuff, if they don't have it in the shop they will order it in, can sometimes take a while as based in France.
I used to order stuff for kids quite a but when I worked there. ๐
Decathlon for us too. Great stuff and not too expensive.
Our kids are only 3 and 4 so for the most part they just wear normal clothes as we don't go out for too long/far. I have got them some decent waterproof kit though for rainy day walks. Spotty Otter waterproof trousers and coats, along with some Clarkes Doodles wellies and thick welly socks they stay warm and dry for up to an hour (the longest I'll keep them out in it when it's really horrible), with lots of puddle jumping.
It's quite expensive but if you pick the right time of year (summer!) you can pick up next years kit from ebay quite cheap. It wears really well so 2nd/3rd hand shouldn't put you off, you can reproof it easily with some NikWax/Graingers.
The little trekkers online store sells it if you feel flush, or they have some other pretty good kit on there too.
How old are your kids?
