We've just got out family holiday booked up for October, can anyone point me in the direction of any tours, guided riding etc... in the Puerto Rico/Playa de Mogan area of Gran Canaria?

Hire a road bike and ride straight out of Mogan up the GC-605 to the reservoir and beyond. Awesome climbing if that's your thing. Bit hot at first though until you start to get up high.
Its an option would prefer off-road though, is there somewhere you can recommend hiring a bike from?

en to Morgan a couple of times and had some good guided rides with a place back up the coast at playa del ingles. They even did pick up from Morgan. You get driven up into the mountains and you end the day on the beach with a beer. last time I went the hire bikes were cannondale.
The company is Free motion and is on the second link above. Don't be put off by the German they were very friendly. remember to ask for them to swap brake levers over.
