hey, i'm going to birmingham a bit later in the month, to visit my sis... I was just wondering if there is anywhere with dirt jumps, or a decent skatepark etc? I know there is cannock chase, but is that all xc or dh? also it is hard for me to get to...

I may well end up taking my xc bike but i'm enjoying the jumpy stuff alot at the moment...

Cheers, Andy

Birmingham Wheels in Bordsley Green has MTB 4x play bits and I think Epic Skatepark (indoor) is still open in Mosely, Ive not been for a year or so, last thing I heard was the vert ramp had been replaced with climbing wall.
Chase is XC and DH, there are waymarked trails and a proper (but not massive elevation) DH area with lots of great trails.

Rugley train station is nearest. http://www.chasetrails.co.uk/directions.php

Both parks are good, but Redditch would be better for bikes ๐Ÿ™‚
