[Closed] Riding at Lee Quarry when the racing's on?

Does the racing effectively close the trails?
Would this be obvious if joining the trail somewhere other than at the bottom? (riders going very fast with numbers on their bikes would be a hint obviously!)
Is there a link to the race dates?

I have seen a few people on the track spectating while on bikes, but to enter the race would be very rude considering others have paid beforehand and it is going for a good cause.

Race dates:

If you simply want to see what racing is like, enter the Have-A-Go-Hero category, people were pretty chilled last time I went on it.

Cheers for the link.

It's not that I want to know what racing's like. I did that once (in '96) and won't do it again!

It's more that I don't want to drive over there or drop in from the RMR and find myself in a race accidentally or find the trails closed.

I'll RSS subscribe so I should get forewarned.

Lancs CC close the trails for us by notice.

We obviously put lots of signs up for the race including at access points so it should be obvious if its on

People can bring their bikes into the quarry but we ask them not to ride along the course as they will conflict with the racing. We only need the trails for 3 hours so its not too bad
