I was nice of him to fall off in front of a camera.

Nice find find and ouch ! edit: btw this is exactly the mental image I have of myself whilst riding ridge lines in the Alps ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

You would be a bit miffed to lose to a guy who falls down a cliff, climbs back up and still posts a better time than you ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not quite sure how he managed that looking at the terrain he had previously ridden over immediately before the crash?

This caught my eye as well this morning, from a story on PB...

Unless he's going for a frontflip, he better let go of the bar sharpish.

Front wheel washed out on the sharp little bend/dip he's just ridden I reckon.

or he's bottomed out the fork in that same dip and fallen from there (he's have been leant over to the left as we're looking at the pic)

โ€œThe first thought was: stop as quickly as possible,โ€ said Pharand. โ€œThe folks in the communal gardens in that area work really hard, and I was really concerned about destroying raspberry bushes or any vegetables.โ€

always my first thought when crashing. sure thats a genuine article?

thinking those flexy 29er wheels dumped him

he'd have been OK on 650b

See, I'm kind of disappointed by this, I thought he won because he fell off a cliff onto the finish line, smashing the field by taking the most direct route.

Ho hum...

Reading the article it was an enduro, so perhaps the crash was on a transition stage and so no time was lost. Still impressive to fall of a cliff and carry on mind!

Nah, I'm blaming the clips n' disco slippers.

If it had happened in France...

He would be prosecuted for not having the correct French paperwork to go cliff diving?

No - he can save that. The front wheel has cleared the obstacle. ๐Ÿ™‚
