Hi all,
I'm trying to put my Raceface Atlas AM cranks onto my 2011 Specialized Enduro comp.
For some reason I just cant seem to get it to fit properly.
From the shell size (73mm), the instructions say I need to have no spacers on the non-drive side.
On the drive side, I have tried combinations of:
Two 2.5mm spacers on the drive side, which sits about right for the chainline, but you can't tighten it up fully before the bb starts to stiffen up because its too tight.
One 2.5mm spacer on the drive side and I can tighten it up fully but then there is no room for the granny ring as it fouls the stinger on the ISCG
Am I just not able to run the cranks on the bike? Seems a little crazy if so.
I figured I'd ask if anyone here has had similar issues, or maybe im just missing something stupid.
Cheers in advance
73mm means one 2.5mm spacer drive side, none on none drive side. In my experience raceface cranks don't work with stingers, they mount the granny so inboard the bolts foul on the stinger. I sold an iscg05 on here for that reason. I now have 2 frames with iscg old mounts, one with XT crank which works perfectly with stinger, one with a RF crank which doesn't.
Search function stinger a few of us have had same problem
