What's the difference between the mmx 1500 and the mmx reverb dropper post?

The 1500 part seems to refer to the length of hose supplied in mm. Some around with 1300mm instead.

Another querry, are all the hose connectors the same size? I've got an original rubber one and want to replace it with the metal one, but IIRC they changed hoses at some point?
