I have been having an issue with my Reverb (since I snapped the hose off the saddle end), when I sit on the saddle the post drops about 10mm, it goes back up again when I get off?
So I have re-bled it - not worked.
Checked and re-pressured it to 250psi - not worked.
Tried re-bled again - not worked.
Can anyone help? Why is it sinking the 10mm? What can I do to stop it? It was fine prior to snapping the barb off and refitting the hose?
I have followed the bled video to the letter, so I don't think its that? Checked the air pressure and that is also fine - so I am running out of ideas of what to do?
Ideas welcome....
Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2010 (year of manufacture) post and it was due to an internal seal failing, not damage to the barb. From what web based research I did, it would appear to be a know issue and SRAM we're fixing it under warranty.
I sent mine back and got a shiny new 2012 version as a replacement. I’d suggest contacting the shop you purchased it from and if it's still under warranty (2 yrs) they should be able to sort it for you. Hope this helps.
