Dropper has stuck down in the lower position so going to bleed it.

Problem is I need the bike serviceable to get to work tomorrow and none of the LBS have any in stock.

Is 2.5wt motorbike suspension fluid a substitute?

Shimano brake mineral oil works I'm told.

It's definitely the same colour 🙂

2.5wt suspension fluid is what Epic Bleed Solutions supply in their kits for the Reverb.

One of my reverbs came with a bottle labelled as Suspension oil.  I had just thrown it in the oil box with all the others - confused the hell out of me as first as I couldn't work out where it had come from.

Thanks folks. LBS has phoned and said he's found some Shimano mineral fluid I can have. Might buy some 2.5wt to keep in the shed anyway.

A mate of mine did it with olive oil when in a jam once.

Check air pressure first.

Got back home and the bloomin thing was working. It was at 200psi so topped it up and adjusted the speed and worked well without bleeding.

I had mine get stuck early morning when the temperature dipped, in the evening it was fine.

Had this before on 'extremely' cold rides on another reverb.  Not sure what to make of it

I think it must be a temperature thing. I'm leaving it up when it's in the shed so it should be fine.
