Anyone got any experience of them? I keep drooling over the Ranger so would love to hear some real world stories of that or the Rascal

Not one of those two, but just built up a Rail.
Only taken it out for a couple of shakedown rides but first impressions are very good. The build quality is excellent and the paint is lush (and apparently hard wearing).
As far as the ride goes, I can only compare it to my last bike, a Whyte T130. Saying that I’m very impressed by the CBF suspension. Even on the road this bike is way quicker than my old T130, it feels like there is nothing lost between the pedal and the wheel. The thing so far that has surprised me the most though is traction. On steep, loose climbs this thing is incredible. Climbs that previously I’d only make in a perfect gear in perfect conditions I can now do every time in slop and in a range of gears sitting or standing. You almost have to make an effort to break traction.
I can’t wait to take it down something worthwhile.

No experience. They look rather good. 18 pivot bearings per frame might want taking into consideration.
