I ordered a decent protected battery from amazon, is it just a matter of soldering a wire to the terminals at either end of the battery? or does the strip connecter running from negative to the protection pcb mean I have to somehow solder to the pcb?

Unfortunately he has bought a battery with wires already attached and the shrink wrapped over.
