[Closed] Replacing a broken zip on a rucsac

Last night the zip on my Dueter pack gave up. Its lost a couple of teeth and I can't thread it back together.
Where can I take the bag to to get the zip replaced? I was going to try the clothing alteration place up the road, but it may be to hard for them. Any suggestions?
Seems a waste to throw it away for the sake of a zip, but it did remind my zipped rucsacs are rubbish...

just ticking this, I've a couple of bags with bust zips. The local place (cobblers) won't do rucksacks.

tailors should be ok, they tend to have HD sewing machine..

or upholsterer / car trim / motorbike leathers place.

also some of the outdoor shops do a repair service, but for what they charge you might as well get a new bag.

I'll try the local clothing alterations place, then the cobblers and then see where they say...

(In Northumberland BTW)

Maybe I'll try Deuter direct as they're in Newcastle!
