So, the rumoured DX charger build quality seems to have some truth in it...
Plugged my 2 month old set in to charge and no lights at all on the charger 🙁
I know I can get in touch with DX and they will probably send a replacement but after waiting nearly 2 months for them to be delivered in the first place I don't really want the wait...
Had a chat with the local Maplin today but they don't do an 8.5v charger. So, does anyone know where I can source an 8.5v, 2A charger in the UK?

I use a 9v 2a drill charger and it works fine. it's extended the burn time on my light from just under 2, to just under 3 hours.
Which is the reason I tried it in the first instance. My battery wouldn't get a full charge and turn the light green on the switch with the original charger, but now it's fine.
