Epic fail. I let my wheel-less bike drop from the shed hook and as it hit the ground it snapped off the little retaining boss on the main part of my SRAM X9 dérailleur. Sweet. I'm looking at about £70 to replace the whole mech.
So I'm thinking, surely someone somewhere has a stash of parts, that SRAM must sell the bits to repair one instead of making us by the whole shebang, right? (OK, this is doubtful I know).
So I was wondering if anyone knows of some guy who has made a speciality out of repairing these things, or supplying the parts to do the repair and save me from a big spend?
SRAM spares listed on Fisher Outdoor & Leisure website, if the part you want is listed then any bike shop will be able to order it.
Not sure what part you mean. You can get spare cages but they are expensive. I think ~ £90 for X.0
Wiggle had OE X.9 mechs for £38 a couple of weeks ago.
