Evening all
My frame is all stripped down, ready for powder coating, but I've been told to remove the stickers myself as the chemical dip won't get them off.
I've tried to just peel them off,but they ain't budging.
Anyone got any tips or hints for easy removal.
Obviously I can scrape them off or emery paper them, just wondering if there's something I can do to make my life easier.

Cheers

razor blade to help lift the edges then apply a strong solvent to help peel them off and clean the glue. But being as scratching hte pint doesn't matter if the sticker does not come off cleanly, as it keeps ripping just use the emery paper.

Really? Don't believe that to be the case - I accept you may have been told that but I don't accept that it is true.

If it was me and I wan't bothered about the paint work then you can get citrus sticky remover that work http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mykal-Sticky-Stuff-Remover-250ml/dp/B000TAT4GM or you could try nail varnish remover.

I've had a few frames powder coated, never been told to remove any thing,or even clean them.
but a kettle of boiling water will take any sticker off.
