[Closed] Removing lowers on 29er RS forks

Never had a problem with just a spanner in the past but the 29er RS lower bolts are recessed to far into the fork.

Is there a tool I can use to remove the lower bolts without having to purchase a complete socket set?

Buy a socket on it's own (need a deep one) or cheap option is a box wrench (or set of, normally very cheap)

Individual socket and my molegrips should then suffice. Cheers guys

Hmmm, perhaps this is the excuse I need to purchase a complete socket set.

Deep 6 sided socket and extension bar to tap with rubber mallet. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Probably not - as LoCo says you'll probably need an extension bar too. If you're buying a socket set with this task in mind, they won't all fit - my 1/2" drive set won't do the job, but a mate's 3/8th teng set will.

If you're doing it on the cheap, get a box spanner:
