[Closed] Removing decals from my anodised Pace....

They lasted the first wet ride in the lakes and now look pretty grim after 6 months! Hence the new frames are painted.

Any ideas anyone? The anodising is tough as old boots but don't want to flatten the finish.

Still a fantastic bike all the same!!

Nail varnish remover. Apply, soak, rub off with a soft cloth.

pretty much any solvent will do the job and leave the anodising alone, to effect the anodising you need a caustic (like drain cleaner).

So acetone (generally found in nail varnish remover, but the cheaper version without moisterisers), nitromors etc should all dissolve the glue.

YOu might get away with a fingernail and a hair dryer if you really heat it up (i dunno what type of decals they are).
