You're going to service your shock, but don't know how to remove it from the frame?!

Use a shock pump to let all the air out (make a note of the pressure you were using first), then undo the shock linkage bolts. The shock should then lift out of the frame.

yes.. by the looks of things its not just as easy as removing the bolt that holds the bottom eyelet the the shockmount. i cant seem to gain access to it..!

Some frame designs you may also need to remove other bits such as the cranks to access linkage bolts etc.

Hmm, just found a close up shot, looks like the bottom bolt is covered by the linkage?

Yes.. im going to service a shock but dont know how to remove it..ive serviced an rp23 before on a previous bike. Never done one on my roscoe. As tonyd says, it looks like the bottom bolt is covered by the linkage. Didn't want to have to start removing things that I didn't need too, thats why im asking.

^^^ I meant to retract my first comment, or at least apologise for it, when I saw the bottom bolt/linkage thing. Looks to me like you'll need to remove that first.

No worries ๐Ÿ™‚ wasn't wanting to remove the linkage but that looks like the only way to do it. So few roscoe owners about with them in one piece that its hard to find someone thats done it and I dont want to take to lbs for what seems to be an easy job.
