How? I've not used my new Pure racing remote post yet but one thing strikes me- with the saddle dropped what happens to the outer? it obviously doesnt shrink so must bunch-up/loop out!?!

Depends on the routing. On one that runs along the TT, its going to bunch at the back of the seat tube.

I'm lucky, as with mine on a Zesty it runs with the other cables down the downtube & then up the seat tube. Took a while to get the route ideal, but it just has a slightly bigger loop when down than up now due to the long mellow bend rather than a tight angle.

Run my i950 remote cable along the tube of my Meta 5 (via a zip tie at each end of top tube) then use a smaller zip tie to tie the remote cable onto top tube zip tie but leave it loose enough for the cable to slide through when you compress the post, works a treat.
