any idea of how much a unit cost?

The paid for one has a timer function, so if you set it for 3 hours it reminds you, then if you don't disengage it, it sends a text with your GPS location to up to three people, which I think is brilliant for lone riders, and probably more use than a beacon that you have to physically engage in the event of something going wrong
