Hi People,
Can you help recommend me a XC Hardtail frame please? I have a full suspension bike but need something for the trails opposed to the downhill courses.
Budget is no more than £500 and looking to put 27.5 wheels on it with 120mm forks

I'd get the solaris myself and then you have the option of 29ering it in the future.
None of those are really xc frames though? What sort of budget?
Do you want a racey XC bike, or an allroundery trail bike?
I ride xc on my blue pig. It nips up technical climbs, albeit a bit slower than my other hardtail.
Cotic Soul, 499 and a great trail/xc frame.
Why 27.5 rather than 29er?
I have a Kinesis FF29 which is a great XC bike. Currently set up with 27.5 wheels but will take 29's as well. The 120mm Trace fork is a perfect match. Frames are around £400 online.

I'm thinking 27.5 opposed to 29 just to flexible really (could be wrong).
The bike isn't going to be used for extreme work or competition just a good workout around trails eg moel famau type areas.
I have looked at the Cotic Soul and thought I was ready to purchase but the suggestions presented have made me think a touch more.
What air folks would you suggest?
I'd love a Cotic Soul. Been looking for a small frame, 2nd hand for ages, but they are all medium or large.
