Was hoping i could get by without them, but went on a ride today and my toes nearly dropped off due to the cold- too much ventilation in my shoes.
Could someone recommend me some overshoes that will stop the wind/rain getting through and won't wear out around the cleat area in a few rides. Some high vis stuff on them would be a bonus as well.
Also if anyone has a set going they don't use anymore i may be interested.
Thanks,
James
Endura MT500s. Had them all winter down to -25 (admittedly with 2 pairs of socks on) and still looking good. They're cheaper than most too. Not much hiviz on them though, just a strip up the zip on the back.
oh balls, should have said- for road shoes!! thanks anyway ๐
them nice thick BBB ones, cheap as chips too
second the Endura MT500s
nice and warm.
MTB is use Endura MT500s but on the road bike I prefer Pro Tarmac NPU (and for Spring/Autumn when it's just to keep puddle splashes off and save a bit of wind-chill then Lusso Max Repels are great).
