any recommendations for some lightweight flat pedals. my old superstar ones have died.
Interested in this as well....
I'm a fan of Nukeproof electrons.
A bit old school looking but Wellgo Mg1's are nice too.
^ all IMHO, of course.
There's not much in the price-range of Superstar Nanos that are better (I haven't found anything anyway).
love my dmr vaults, I'd love a pair of these though

Carbon CC sell some good pedals, they are the same pedal as some of the Superstar and Nukeproof models but a chunk cheaper.

I've got electrons,. they are good. The new plastic Superstar Nano tyoe ones look good too.
Those Point One's Podiums are amazing, with Gamut taking them over recently you'd think there'd be something in the pipeline.
What happened to the standard answer of Wellgo MG1's?
It's still standard, as per 3rd post down. Cheap and light but not the thinnest.
Still at the top of my list, though!
I didn't like the grip of the plastic nanos (Electrons, etc) much- the axle protrudes a bit so with some of my shoes, there wasn't much weight on the pins. But they did work well with others.
This might help (I've been looking for some new pedals for a new build):
Nukeproof electrons 346g c.£30
Superstar ultra mag (310g or 263g with Ti axle)
Wellgo WR1 with Ti axle 170g and c.£60 on ebay (low grip, but no sharp pins) £24 for Ti axle shipped from Toronto cycles
Wellgo MG-1 Ti 300g c.£48 on ebay
Wellgo MG-1 379g
Xpedo Spry - 260g
rewskiI'd love a pair of these though
hatterThose Point One's Podiums are amazing,
Amazingly fragile. I had mine replaced twice under warranty. When the third set died in under 6 months they didn't have any stock to give me another pair. Lovely feel to use up until the point where the pedal body decides to just slide off the axle mid trail.
Also, your best avoiding anything with magnesium imo.
+1 for MG-1s, had a couple of pairs and they performed flawlessly except for flaking paint.
