Wanting to build up a set of wheels that can be used on a couple of my bikes, one is V-brake and the other is disc only, so looking for a rim with a ceramic braking surface (ideally?) that is also a good rim for a disc wheelset... Hubs are 32H WI Eno SS jobbies if it makes any difference...

Been using a non-disc XC717 for ages, no problem so far 🙂

the disc use is basically irrelevant isn't it? just get a decent ceramic rim and you're done

stoopid question I'm sure, but is there any difference at all between disc and v-brake rims (other than the lack of braking surface?)
