Was thinking of getting a turbo trainer until I read a post from someone who bought a used gym spin bike. Quick ebay search reveals you can get one for much the same price as a mid-level turbo,
So what am I looking for - brands, models, features, common problems? I don't need any gizmos on it like power/calories burned etc. Just something very robust as Im a heavy lump and its going to take a beating.
