For my Pitch - current one is a Cane Creek something or other. Cheap-ish but decent preferably.
I think mine has had it due to poor maintenance on my part. 😳
Crane Creek make decent enough headsets, just get a replacement, and look after it?
hope
The cheap 'n' cheerful standard answer is always FSA Orbit XLII
What's an FSA Pig like? They're nice and cheap. 🙂
how much you talking to spend?
you could get a CK for £45 from classifieds..
I'd rather not spend more than about £25 tbh.
FSA Orbit XLII IMO a little more money but sealed bearings and well made..
Found an Orbit XL II for £22.50 inc postage on ebay - might just do that.
just to add high on bikes sell them cheap

FSA Pig is quite a tough headset with a long working life, though you do need to look after it like all cheap headsets. The only "fit and forget" headset is a Chris King. Just get a Pig and re-grease it regularly. About £20 from CRC.
Aerozine going cheap at the moment.
I just buy one FSA Pig Pro every year, as i never grease or maintain them....works out cheap and cheerful.
FSA XLII floats my boat and the bearings are cheap and replaceable (and last ages)
Just ordered an FSA XLII - cheers everyone.
woollyhatshop do the XLII for £19.99 on Ebay. There's no real point to spend more unless you want a different logo.
(Pigs have loose bearings)
2 and half quid saved if you'd waited 21 seconds!
But I got, er.... some free spacers!
