[#13535010]

For my wife’s new road bike.

Looking for a decent out front mount and a light to go with it.

Standard road bars and needs to hold a large Edge Explore 2.

 Cheers

Kedge XL. With exposure Boost/joystick mount underneath. For day running i like the Ravman under the garmin too.

Depending what type of light you need, a Raveman option? I have the FR1000, daytime light built in, GoPro/Exposure adapter underneath

Magicshine EVO-1300?

Includes a decent Garmin mount with a GoPro adapter underneath. The light is quite weighty tho

I have a Ravemen FR300. It mounts on any out front Garmin mount and the Garmin just mounts on top of the light. I think there's a more powerful version now?

A couple of good looking options cheers.

Is the Raveman OK with the bulkier Explore computer? Looks like it would suit one of the smaller ones better.

My FR1000 is on my gravel bike. I use a Wahoo Roam, whuch is small, but it's still solid on local bridleways with an Exposure Race attached.

Check out framesandgear website, they do all sorts of light and computer mounts for all combinations.

I bought a K-Edge one for my new road bike. Not cheap but it's absolutely solid.

I use mine with an Edge 840. They're pretty much the same size. I can't see why it wouldn't work with the Explore too.

I bought THIS ONE for my Explore 2, it has the mount under the Garmin mount, which I assume is compatible with the Exposure brackets (though I'm yet to get one for my Trace)

I've always used Raceware Mounts. Really nice bloke who runs it. Has done some custom prints for me too.

Kedge is jewellery for your bike. Ive never had one fail and I have them on every road bike. Their design has changed over the years, but I am still using the original with the machined alloy one piece garmin holder on one bike. The Go Pro mount underneath takes my exposure strada on one bike with the wedge adaptor mount, so a garmin 840, ravman light and a strada underneath. It never moves!

i also had a raceware printed mount for my Propel aerobars. I snapped one mounting it, and they replaced it without quibbling. Took the Ravman plus garmin 520, but neither were heavy.

I use a Raveman 1600 on the gravel bike with Edge Explore 2. The mount is from Amazon (sorry) and the Raveman adapter was from somewhere else.
